IED Milan Students Present Immersive Video Mapping at Alcova Miami Art Week
At Miami Art Week 2023, students from IED Milan's Master in Visual Arts for the Digital Age presented 'Denoise,' an interactive video mapping project at Alcova. With guidance from visual artist Martin Romeo, room 35 of the Selina Gold Dust Motel was turned into a unique sensory experience. The installation paid homage to the 1950s Italian group Gruppo T and featured work from participants like Daniela Cimarelli, Emma Scarafiotti, and others, each tackling seven themes and reimagining Gruppo T's influence through sculptures and animations. Riccardo Balbo, the Dean of IED Group, emphasized the importance of curiosity in design and was thrilled to showcase IED's educational approach at Alcova.
