IED and Artribune present Fragile Surface at Fabbrica del Vapore

On June 15-16, 2023, IED students in sound design and video art performed Fragile Surface at Fabbrica del Vapore in Milan, exploring the coexistence of human creativity and artificial intelligence. The multidisciplinary project, directed by Alberto Ricca and Vincenzo Fabiano, is part of a broader collaboration between IED and Artribune for Dialoghi Sonori 2023. Students from IED Milano's second-year Sound and Video Design courses created multimedia content blurring boundaries between art, technology, and reality. The performance also ties into Fragile Surface, a project where students and alumni design covers for Artribune magazine; the latest cover, selected from proposals by IED Milano's Visual Arts students, will be released in early July 2023.
