IED Amaze Project: Virtual Exhibition of 2020 Thesis Projects Goes Interactive

digital · 2026-04-27

IED Milano has launched IED Amaze Project, a permanent, multi-platform virtual exhibition showcasing the best thesis projects from 2020 across design, fashion, visual arts, and communication. The exhibition is accessible via app, VR headsets (Oculus), and a custom video game cabinet at IED Milano's campus. Developed in collaboration with Streamcolors, co-founded by IED alumnus Giacomo Giannella and Giuliana Geronimo, the gamified 3D world allows visitors to explore 34 projects as avatars in an interactive environment. The initiative extends IED's digital experimentation begun with Avant Défilé in September 2020, aiming to create a permanent digital archive of student theses. The exhibition is curated by IED Milano Vice Director Alberico Guerzoni.
