architecture-design · 2026-05-18

The School of Architecture and Design at IE University presented a variety of student projects spanning architecture, fashion, and design. A standout project, 'Hot to Go,' created by Ariadna Fernández Yenes, Estrella García Escribano, Marion Isabelle Agathe Vincey, and Nilsu Ozdikicioglu, envisions a sustainable memorial at Madrid's Cementerio de la Almudena that transforms cremation heat into renewable energy for gardens of remembrance, edible landscapes, and a heated public pool. Additional projects featured include 'Bluezones' by Agustina Tolosa Picasso, 'Jazz: Chaos and Harmony' by Isabella Guerra, 'Sea Phantoms' by Natalia Berumen, and 'Woven Cascade' by Maria Urrutia, among others, all developed under the guidance of tutors like Clara Llamas and David Goodman.
