festival-fair · 2026-05-27

The final edition of NYCxDesign, anchored by ICFF and its sister fair Wanted, took place at the Javits Center from May 17–19, 2026. The fair, themed “Common Ground: A Dialogue on Design and Shared Values,” highlighted cross-cultural exchange, material ingenuity, and socially minded design. Among the standout products were Erwan Bouroullec's Kobold Sofa for Ligne Roset, a modular system with upholstered wooden sides framing shelving and seating. Virginia Sin's Field Collection, inspired by James Turrell, offered 120 combinations of ceramic backplates, interchangeable shades, and hardware finishes. Taiwan-Lantern debuted Wu Xing–inspired colorways for its Lotus Charm Floor Lanterns, handmade in Taiwan's last traditional lantern factory. Ethnicraft's Roan Lounge Chair revisited a 1930s Paul Poiret classic with a streamlined solid wood frame. Danver partnered with The Galley to introduce Kitchen Workstation systems for outdoor kitchens. Anna Dawson's Dancer Collection featured glass sconces with symmetrical and asymmetrical silhouettes. Cuff Studio's Petal Promenade collection, inspired by its showroom near New York's Flower District, used Scalamandré textiles. Warp & Weft presented a retrospective of four rugs tracing its evolution. Brizo's Faircroft collection introduced nine customizable faucet configurations, including its first living finish, Unlacquered Brass, and SmartTouch Technology. Wanted will shift to a November schedule starting next year.
