Iceland presents multidisciplinary Pavilion at Venice Biennale

The Icelandic Art Center will present Pocket Universe, a multidisciplinary exhibition by artist, poet, composer, and filmmaker Ásta Fanney Sigurðardóttir at the 61st Venice Biennale. The exhibition explores shifting perspectives through hope, imagination, and belief, proposing that a change in mindset can open new possibilities even in unstable times. Ásta's practice is described as "spiritual fluxus," blending dream-like qualities across sound, performance, moving image, sculpture, and installation. Her work creates shifting experiences where boundaries between elements blur, avoiding linear narratives by weaving together different storylines and timelines. The exhibition will be held at the Icelandic Pavilion.
