ICAMT Workshop on Architecture and Museum Techniques Returns to Milan

From January 28 to February 1, Milan will be the venue for the third ICAMT workshop focused on architecture and museum techniques, following previous gatherings in São Paulo (2016) and Lisbon (2018). This event, organized in collaboration with the Municipality of Milan, ICOM, Politecnico di Milano, the Order of Architects, and the Fondazione, aims to engage 70 attendees, including 10 students. Key subjects will encompass sustainability, museum management, and exhibition design. Notable speakers include Jean Hilgersom, ICAMT's President, and architect Maddalena D'Alfonso. The workshop will take place at various locations, such as Palazzo Reale and Fondazione Prada, with participants receiving academic and professional credits. Tiziana Maffei, president of ICOM Italia, emphasized the workshop's relevance to ICOM's strategy for fostering global dialogue among museum experts.
