ICA Milan Opens Season with Books and Others, a Three-Day Art Publishing Event

The ICA – Istituto per l’Arte Contemporanea di Milano is set to launch its exhibition season with "Books and Others," a three-day event scheduled from Friday, September 27 to Sunday, September 29, 2019, that highlights the intersection of publishing and visual arts. Organized by Chiara Costa, Giovanna Silva, Dallas (Francesco Valtolina and Kevin Pedron), and Alberto Salvadori, the program features exhibitions, workshops, book consultations, and sales. Thirty Italian publishers will showcase three titles each for free consultation, which will later enrich ICA's library. Books will be available for purchase from Reading Room (Milan) and Bruno (Venice). The September Book workshop will involve eight artists, with their final pieces exhibited during the event. Additionally, the exhibition "Work-Book-Work," curated by Gregorio Magnani, showcases works by Céline Condorelli, Michael Dean, Karl Holmqvist, Sara MacKillop, and Erik Steinbrecher, running until October 6, 2019, accompanied by lectures and discussions.
