Iberdrola's 125th Anniversary Exhibition at Bilbao Fine Arts Museum
From April 29 to August 30, 2026, the Bilbao Fine Arts Museum will host 'Paralelos y meridianos' in honor of Iberdrola's 125th anniversary. This exhibition showcases 138 pieces from Iberdrola's corporate collection, initiated in 2006 and now encompassing approximately 400 artworks located in Bilbao, Madrid, the US, and the UK. Curated by Guillermo Zuaznabar, the exhibition is divided into two main themes: 'parallels,' which explores the evolution of Basque modernism from the late 19th century to contemporary global art, and 'meridians,' which consists of eight thematic sections. Featured artists include Andy Warhol, Gerhard Richter, and Marina Abramović, among others. For the first time, two unfinished paintings of Bilbao by Antonio López will be displayed, along with nine works in the Iberdrola Tower atrium.
