IAPSER Office Building in Paraná: Concrete Landmark by Stechina, Di Napoli, Francesconi

On the edge where Paraná's urban fabric meets the river, a new office building in exposed reinforced concrete presents a contemporary, high-performance image. The project, developed from the winning preliminary design of a 2019 competition, was completed in 2025. Designed by architects Sebastian Stechina, Carlos Di Napoli, and Andres Francesconi, the building spans 9,013 square meters. The team included collaborators Ignacio Carón, Julieta Zampedri, and Ezequiel Paira; structural engineers Franco Grzelak and Maria Florencia Armanasco; electrical and connectivity specialists Adrián Donnet, Ariel Fabricio Medina, and Domingo Luis Ava; sanitary installers Javier Lopez Leites, Maximiliano Kolmann, and Héctor Alejandro Rufiné; fire protection by Antonio Betti; thermomechanical installations by Federico Martinez and Roman Heit; cost analysis by Romina Almeida; openings and envelopes by Paulo Cardenal; and environmental impact study by Cristina Dall’Ava and Agustina Betti. The project was curated by Valentina Díaz, with photographs by Federico Cairioli. The building serves as the new headquarters for IAPSER, a provincial entity. Its location at the confluence of city and river underscores its architectural significance, offering a modern workplace that responds to its context.
