Iain Grandage to Lead Spare Parts Puppet Theatre in 2027
Spare Parts Puppet Theatre in Fremantle has announced Iain Grandage AM as its new Artistic Director, effective January 2027. This appointment follows a comprehensive international search conducted by REA arts + culture. In related news, Experience Gold Coast has selected a new Head of Arts and Culture to manage HOTA Home of the Arts. CreateSA has also named an Evaluation Lead to assess its funding programs. Furthermore, Opera Australia and The Australian Ballet School have welcomed new members to their respective boards. Richard Watts OAM, the National Performing Arts Editor at ArtsHub, received his Medal of the Order of Australia in June 2024.
