IABO's #ClimateChange Campaign Transforms Naples and Rome Streets
Salvatore Rocco, also recognized as IABO, initiated the #ClimateChange awareness campaign in collaboration with Inward, the national urban creativity observatory. This initiative showcases large posters and smaller artworks in Rome, as well as at two Circumvesuviana stations in Naples—Piazza Garibaldi and Porta Nolana—in partnership with EAV. The campaign illustrates climate change through two figures: an indigenous person in snow and an Inuit sweating, both appearing astonished. Launched in September 2019, this effort is part of urban redevelopment, with plans to extend to additional stations. Recently, IABO displayed 'Core Identity' at ART3035 Gallery in Amsterdam. Additionally, EAV has created CREAV, the first registry for street artists, and intends to paint four more stations.
