I Dreamt We Dreamt of Eden Group Exhibition at Hunna Art

Hunna Art presents 'I Dreamt We Dreamt of Eden', a group exhibition curated by Hayaty Diaries featuring five artists: Alymamah Rashed, Hannah Lim, Raya Kassisieh, Samo Shalaby, and Xanthe Burdett. The show explores Eden as a plural, shifting, and embodied condition through painting, sculpture, and installation. Rashed's work draws on spiritualism and personal mythology, dissolving boundaries between corporeal and celestial. Lim reimagines enchanted creatures inspired by Chinese and European decorative histories. Kassisieh approaches Eden through grief and material sensitivity, rooted in Palestinian heritage. Shalaby constructs nocturnal, theatrical landscapes with myth and sensuality. Burdett's paintings blur human and non-human forms. The exhibition runs at Hunna Art Gallery, with an image of Samo Shalaby's 'The Garden of Hypnos' (2025).
