Hyatt Regency London Olympia Opens in £1.3bn Cultural Hub

The Hyatt Regency London Olympia has officially opened its doors, featuring 204 rooms and designed by Twenty2degrees, as part of the £1.3 billion regeneration project in west London. This hotel is situated in a former car park, originally constructed in 1937 by architect Joseph Emberton, who employed a double-ramp design. While maintaining its early modernist aesthetics, the building also integrates modern interiors. Led by creative director Joe Stella, the design emphasizes a serene and straightforward ambiance with Art Deco influences. The accommodation includes three suites and 11 room variations, such as the Regency Executive Suite with a terrace and the King Bed Deluxe room. Guest rooms pay homage to iconic rock musicians like Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd, and The Chemical Brothers. The ground floor houses Idalia, an Asian-European fusion restaurant within the Grade II* listed Pillar Hall, serving dishes like Korean fried Gochujang chicken and miso-crusted black cod. Additional amenities include a fitness centre and relaxing public spaces. Located at 7 Olympia Way, London W14 0EY, the hotel offers convenient access to Holland Park, Kensington Palace, the Design Museum, and the Natural History Museum, along with quick links to central London and Heathrow Airport.
