architecture-design · 2026-04-14

Humbert & Poyet, a design studio based in Monaco, has finalized a model residence spanning 5,772 square feet on the 69th floor of 53 West 53rd Street in Manhattan. Commissioned by Pontiac Land Group, architects Emil Humbert and Christophe Poyet designed the space to provide sweeping views through expansive floor-to-ceiling windows, creating a series of distinct atmospheres. Custom furnishings include a black lacquer dining table by Philippe Hurel, Hug chairs, bronze screens by Fodor, and a gold-finished plaster headboard crafted by Tollis. The art collection, curated by Creative Art Partners, features a piece by Mark Connolly, while notable touches include a fresco-like finish from Atelier de la Torre and vintage accents. The studio referred to the project as a 'dream' that transformed their design philosophy.
