Hugo Drubay presents nature-inspired designs at Nancy's Villa Majorelle

exhibition · 2026-05-13

From June 6, 2026, to January 3, 2027, Hugo Drubay will showcase a range of furniture and decorative items at Villa Majorelle in Nancy. Titled "Là où les arbres prennent forme," this exhibition follows his residency at the villa in March 2025. Drubay, an interior architect based near Fontainebleau, drew inspiration from Louis Majorelle and the naturalist ideals of the École de Nancy. His collection features prototypes such as an armchair, a low bookshelf, two rugs, upholstery fabric, and a glass door, all crafted in Nancy workshops with assistance from Cerfav, alongside partnerships with Pierre Frey and Codimat. A meeting with Drubay is planned for June 6, 2026, at 3:30 PM at the Musée des Beaux-Arts de Nancy.
