The Huelva City Council, through its Department of Culture and Archaeological Heritage, has announced the 29th Autumn Painting Salon (Salón de Otoño de Pintura) for 2026. The open call targets Spanish and foreign artists over 18 residing in Spain, with a total prize fund of €9,000: a first prize of €6,000 and a second prize of €3,000, both acquisition awards. Each artist may submit one original, unique work in any technique (except digital or serial works), not exceeding 150×150 cm, and not previously awarded or pending judgment elsewhere. The first phase is online from July 27 to August 20, 2026, requiring an application form, ID, CV, and a photo of the work. A jury will preselect works digitally; finalists must deliver physical works by September 21, 2026. The exhibition runs from October 14 to 24, 2026. The city council may publish a catalog.
