architecture-design · 2026-07-28

Hsu McCullough completed the Ridge Residence in Los Angeles in 2020, a 3,099-square-foot home set within the Fossil Ridge park. The project, led by principals Peggy P. Hsu, AIA, and Christopher S.D. McCullough, involved a team including Soroush Sarang and contractors Dynamic Builders of Southern California. Engineering consultants included Parker Resnick Structural Engineering, Ralph Stone and Company, Inc., and Becker & Miyamoto. The site features heritage oak trees growing from ancient granite outcroppings, surrounded by diverse wildlife such as lizards, deer, snakes, coyotes, birds, butterflies, bees, moths, and dragonflies. Photographs by Joe Fletcher document the residence.
