Hotel Reviewer Ryan Walker Claims Aman's New Resort Canceled His Stay and Called the Cops on Him

Ryan Walker, a 33-year-old hotel reviewer, alleges that his reservation at Amanvari, Aman's new resort in Mexico, was abruptly canceled, and the police were summoned when he attempted to check in. He shared his experience in a video titled "Amanvari Called the Police on Me," uploaded on August 4, which has garnered over 550,000 views. Despite booking his stay at the 18-key resort weeks prior, he was refused entry upon arrival. After asking to speak with the manager, a guard called law enforcement. Subsequently, Walker received an email indicating a reduction in arrivals for operational reasons. He contends that stifling independent reviewers undermines the integrity of the hospitality sector. Aman has yet to respond to Robb Report's inquiry.
