exhibition · 2026-04-20

In 2021, ArtReview Asia's Summer edition highlighted five notable exhibitions in Hong Kong. 'Curtain', hosted by Para Site and Rockbund Art Museum, features works from 27 artists like Xyza Cruz Bacani and Zhou Tao, exploring themes of privacy, technology, and globalization through curtain imagery. Meanwhile, Tai Kwun Contemporary's 'Portals, Stories, and Other Journeys' serves as an archival tribute to the late Ha Bik Chuen, showcasing artists such as Banu Cennetoğlu and Walid Raad. The K11 Art Foundation, in collaboration with the French Consulate, presents 'Calligraphy Rhapsody', which honors Georges Mathieu's Lyrical Abstraction. Additionally, David Zwirner Hong Kong's 'The Real World' delves into 1990s art's social themes, while 3812 Gallery celebrates its tenth anniversary with 'After Nature'.
