Antimatter, a 'neo-cloud' provider based in Hong Kong, is emerging as a competitor to US frontier AI models and cloud solutions, with ambitions to establish a billion-dollar enterprise by assisting companies in reducing expenses and achieving data sovereignty. The firm is swiftly enhancing its AI data center capabilities and anticipates a significant revenue increase in the next two years, as current closed frontier AI models will struggle to meet the surging global demand. Chief marketing officer Queenie Chan highlighted the rising interest from small businesses, government entities, and tech enthusiasts eager to lessen their dependence on US technology firms, particularly from inquiries in Europe and the Middle East.
