According to technology experts, Hong Kong is experiencing a significant shift in its technological infrastructure as local authorities and companies substitute Western products with homegrown options. This change is fueled by increased integration with mainland China and escalating geopolitical tensions. A task force is working on introducing domestic technology within the public sector in mainland China, although Hong Kong lacks an official policy on this matter.
