Honda Recalls 60,000 Electric SUVs Over Blank Backup Cameras

Honda is recalling nearly 60,000 electric SUVs due to a software issue that can cause the backup camera display to go blank. The recall affects 2024 Acura ZDX and 2024–2025 Honda Prologue vehicles. Dealers will update the software or replace the cameras at no cost to owners. The problem stems from a software glitch that may prevent the rearview camera image from appearing when the vehicle is in reverse, increasing the risk of a crash. Honda will notify affected owners starting in February 2025.
