architecture-design · 2026-04-20

At Milan Design Week, 22 pairs of master-apprentices participating in the Homo Faber Fellows 2026 program are presenting their collaborative creations. This six-month fellowship, organized by the Michelangelo Foundation and spearheaded by Art Director Giampiero Bodino, emphasizes the art of craftsmanship and the relationship between objects and light. The exhibition, taking place at La Casa degli Artisti, will be open until April 26. Notable pieces on display include "Light of Longing" by Helena Imaginario and Ou Sansan, hand-painted wallpaper crafted by Juan Aresti and Celia Botas Vigo, and a terracotta vase by Sam Baron and Nicolo Giuliano. Other featured collaborations are "Sacred Landscape," "Resonances," "Liminal," "Mineral Sculpture Box," "Millinery," "After Artemis," and "The Butterfly Mind." This theme is linked to the Homo Faber Biennial, set to commence on August 30 in Venice.
