Homeless curators organize exhibition at National Museum Cardiff
The National Museum Cardiff has opened a new exhibition called 'Who decides?' showcasing art curated by people who have experienced homelessness. This exhibition started on October 28, 2017, and will be on display until September 2018. It has been made possible with the help of The Wallich, a charity focused on supporting the homeless in Wales. The curators selected works from the museum's collection as well as pieces from the Derek Williams Trust, which has collaborated with them for a decade. Featured artists include Anthony Caro, Olga Chernysheva, and Paula Rego, among others. Meanwhile, the Koestler Trust’s 'Art by Offenders' exhibition 'Inside,' curated by Sir Antony Gormley, runs until November 15 and attracts over 8,000 submissions each year.
