Home Studio: New Multifunctional Space Opens in Mestre

In Mestre, a new multifunctional space called Home Studio has opened, aiming to revitalize the city's cultural scene. Founded by the team behind Holic, a communication studio established in 2012 by Viviana Silotto, Giacomo Dell'Orco, and Nicola Cibin, Home Studio combines a concept store, a photographic studio, and an event space. The studio also houses Holic's offices. The space sells design objects from brands like 24 Bottles and Normann Copenhagen, as well as homeware and graphic items. It offers rental facilities for professionals, including a photo studio and event rooms. The founders chose to stay in Mestre, citing the city's community of young graphic designers and artists who lack access to equipment. Home Studio plans to host creative writing workshops and exhibitions featuring local and international artists. Additionally, the team is launching Urban Rise, a cultural association focused on urban regeneration through street art in degraded areas of Mestre-Venice. The first intervention is scheduled for June 2018 on the facade of the historic Cinema Dante.
