Hokusai documentary coming to Italian cinemas in September
A documentary on Katsushika Hokusai, produced by Nexo Digital, will be released in Italian cinemas in September 2017. The film offers a cinematic journey through the life and work of the Japanese artist, featuring commentary from scholars and artists influenced by him, including David Hockney and Ideguchi Yuki. It includes an exclusive tour of the British Museum exhibition "Hokusai: beyond the Great Wave," presented by art historian Andrew Graham-Dixon with artists Grayson Perry, Kate Malone, and Maggi Hambling. The exhibition runs until August 13, 2017, showcasing works from Hokusai's last 30 years.
