HOA Galeria Opens New São Paulo Space with Decolonial Group Show
HOA Galeria marks its third anniversary and the opening of a new venue in central São Paulo with the group exhibition 'Do vôo às narinas respirar, braços largos, mensagens ao vento' (From flight to nostrils, breathe, arms wide, messages in the wind). Curated by Guilherme Teixeira and Nathaliga Grilo, the show features 30 artists exploring ancestry, present, and future through a decolonial lens. The title references HOA's first exhibition at SP-Arte Online during the pandemic. The new space at Rua Brigadeiro Galvão, 480, Barra Funda, will host not only exhibitions but also performances, courses, seminars, editorial launches, and cultural activities focused on racialized and LGBTQIA+ artists. The exhibition runs until March 18, 2023.
