Hirshhorn Museum appoints five new trustees under Melissa Chiu's leadership
Five new trustees have joined the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden in Washington: Haryanto Adikoesoemo, Jill Bernstein, Stéphan Crétier, Trinh D. Doan, and Jill Cooper Udall. This brings the total number of new members appointed under director Melissa Chiu to eight. The museum is currently celebrating its fortieth anniversary. Recent acquisitions during Chiu's tenure include Yoko Ono's video work Sky TV for Washington from 1966/2014 and two paintings by Dan Colen: Let's Spend The Night Together and The Pastoral Symphony, both created in 2012.
