Hilary Duff protagonista del remake al femminile di How I Met Your Mother su Hulu

Hulu has revealed its funding for a female-led remake of How I Met Your Mother, titled How I Met Your Father. Created by Isaac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger, the series is set to premiere on January 18, 2022, on the American streaming platform. Hilary Duff stars as Sophie, the main character who narrates to her son the story of how she met his father. Taking place in New York in 2021, the first episode will be directed by Pam Fryman, who helmed the original series. The ensemble cast features Chris Lowell (Jesse), Francia Raisa (Valentina), Tom Ainsley (Charlie), Tien Tran (Ellen), Suraj Sharma (Sid), and Daniel Augustin (Ian). Kim Cattrall will voice the adult Sophie, appearing on-screen. Original producers Carter Bays and Craig Thomas are involved in the project, following a failed attempt in 2014 with Greta Gerwig and Meg Ryan. The storyline begins with a Tinder encounter.
