High Line Art Unveils 62 Proposals for 2029–2030 Plinth Commissions
High Line Art has presented 62 new proposals for the Plinth's seventh and eighth editions, set for 2029 and 2030, above Tenth Avenue in New York City. Notable entries include Kathleen Ryan's 'Red Delicious', Ali Cherri's 'Apples in a White Bowl', Kelly Akashi's 'Double Negative', and Laure Prouvost's 'DREAMING OF NO MORE FRONT TEARS'. Other remarkable works are Es Devlin's 'A Portrait of the Present', Ryan Gander's 'Time Piece (for everyone, everywhere, forever)', and Serge Attukwei Clottey's 'Symbol of Hope'. The Plinth first launched in 2019, featuring Tuan Andrew Nguyen's 'The Light That Shines Through the Universe' until Fall 2027.
