Herzog & De Meuron selected to design Royal College of Art's £108m Battersea South campus

Herzog & De Meuron, the Swiss architectural firm, has been chosen to design the Royal College of Art's new Battersea South campus in London, a project valued at £108 million. The architects, known for their work on both Tate Modern buildings, won the competition based on their proposal's clear organizational structure and sensitivity to the complex objectives outlined in the brief. Their design demonstrates strong engagement with the existing college buildings and the wider surroundings in Battersea.
