Herzog & de Meuron's Tour Triangle in Paris Nears Completion, Captured by Stefano Candito
Herzog & de Meuron's contentious Tour Triangle in Paris, conceived two decades ago, is nearing its final stages. This all-glass, triangular structure, situated in the 15th arrondissement, reached its peak of 42 stories on April 24, 2026. Prior to the commencement of construction in 2022, the project encountered significant opposition, financial challenges, and legal issues. Standing at 180 meters, it is now the third-tallest building within the boundaries of Paris, following the Eiffel Tower (330m), The Link in La Défense (231m), and Tour Montparnasse (210m). Due to a skyscraper ban reinstated by Mayor Anne Hidalgo in 2023, this status is expected to remain unchanged. Photographer Stefano Candito captured the latest developments.
