Hermès unveils immersive 2026 home collection installation by Charlotte Macaux Perelman at Milan Design Week

During Milan Design Week, scheduled for April 20th to 24th, 2026, Hermès unveils its home collection through an engaging installation crafted by architect Charlotte Macaux Perelman. This design features beechwood volumes arranged in a loose grid, allowing visitors to experience shifting perspectives and pathways as they explore. Items from the collection are positioned on these plinths, acting as coordinates on a map. A striking central marble table by Barber and Osgerby, designed in a soft figure eight and inspired by equestrian forms, serves as the focal point. The collection includes vessels in hammered palladium wrapped in leather or horsehair, cashmere throws with resist-dyed patterns, and leather marquetry boxes, all contributing to a geometric aesthetic. The installation promotes a leisurely exploration, revealing dynamic relationships between objects as guests wander through. The design team imagines the experience as akin to a traveler navigating a low-lying city of curated items.
