Hermès Mobile Cinema H Box Debuts at Centre Pompidou
The H Box, a removable projection space created by Hermès and Didier Fiuza-Faustino, was showcased at the Centre Pompidou from November 29, 2007, until January 7, 2008. This design features aluminum modules and a glass front, giving it an illusion of floating. Over the next three years, it will travel to Musac in León, Mudam in Luxembourg, and Tate Modern in London, where it will display eight videos on a loop from artists such as Alice Anderson and Yael Bartana, with four new pieces introduced each year. Significant works from 2007 include 'Open Score' by Su-Mei Tse, 'Mary-Koszmary' by Yael Bartana, and 'Bulles' by Valérie Mréjen. H Box highlights Hermès' support for public art institutions, contrasting with Chanel's Mobile Art initiative designed by Zaha Hadid.
