Hermann Bergamelli's Fabric Works at Galleria AB in Brescia

Hermann Bergamelli (born 1990, Bergamo) presents nine new works in 'Electro Glide in Blue' at Galleria AB in Brescia, curated by Irene Sofia Comi. The artist works with fabrics, dyeing them with plant juices and tints to achieve depth and vibration. The first room features a triptych in green and blue with a protruding fabric seam, and 'Verde nel verde blu,' a quadripartite piece recalling Josef Albers, Brice Marden, David Novros, and Peter Halley. The second room emphasizes formlessness with a triptych lacking a frame, focusing on stratification of fabric and filament. The work 'Presto' is noted as weakened by its wall placement.
