Henry Moore, Markus Lüpertz, Daisy Youngblood Exhibitions in New York
Three concurrent exhibitions in New York showcase Henry Moore's drawings at Hazlitt Holland-Hibbert, Markus Lüpertz's sculpture and etchings at Michael Werner, and Daisy Youngblood's ceramics at McKee. Moore's show features master drawings from the Henry Moore Foundation, including Shelter Drawings from WWII, and celebrates a catalogue raisonné. Lüpertz presents hand-colored bronzes on classical themes, including the Four Heads of the Judgement of Paris. Youngblood's survey includes animal and spiritual figures, made in clay and bronze, spanning over 25 years. The exhibitions run through May 2004.
