Henk Visch's Early Career Revisited in Artpress

The January 2017 issue of Artpress (n°440, pp. 48-52) features an article on Henk Visch, titled "L’objet n’est pas un but." The text recalls the artist's first exhibition in 1983 at the Stedelijk Van Abbemuseum in Eindhoven, where he showed alongside Isa Genzken, Robert Longo, and René Daniëls. Two years later, in 1985, Visch exhibited with Marlene Dumas and René Daniëls at Galerie Barbara Jendring in Krefeld. The article explores Visch's conceptual approach, emphasizing that the object is not an end in itself.
