Helium Design Lab Launches HeSL3 Interface Plate for Leica SL3
Helium Design Lab, founded by photographers Hugh Brownstone and Ed Palisoc, has introduced the HeSL3 Interface Plate for the Leica SL3 series full-frame interchangeable lens cameras. Unlike previous grips for the Leica Q3, Q2, M11, and Sigma BF, the HeSL3 is an interface plate because the SL3 already has a built-in grip. It features an AirTag compartment, Arca-Swiss mount, Peak Design Capture Clip compatibility, and easy battery/SD access. The plate is CNC'd from 6061-T6 aluminum with black anodization, priced at $320, and available for preorder now. Helium Design Lab also received its first patent, protecting its innovations from competitors. Shipping is expected in the second week of June after a 30-day preorder window. If preorders don't meet the target, all orders will be refunded.
