Hélène de Franchis curates 'Un racconto in sei stanze' at Palazzo Barbò

exhibition · 2026-05-05

The 16th-century Palazzo Barbò in Torre Pallavicina hosts 'Un racconto in sei stanze', a group exhibition curated by Angela Madesani and selected by Hélène de Franchis, director of Galleria Studio La Città in Verona. Eight artists from Italy, Europe, America, and Asia are featured. Herbert Hamak's resin sculptures begin the narrative across six rooms. Subodh Gupta, Riyas Komu, and the late Hema Upadhyay explore migration themes. Michelangelo Pistoletto's 'Il tavolo', Hiroyuki Masuyama's Turner-inspired lightboxes, Roberto Pugliese's sound art, and Jacob Hashimoto's landscape works complete the show. The exhibition runs until July 17, 2016.
