Helen Shute Appointed CEO of English National Opera and London Coliseum Limited

Helen Shute is set to take over as the Chief Executive of English National Opera and London Coliseum Limited in November 2026, following Jenny Mollica's departure in May. Since 2017, Shute has been the Chief Executive and Executive Producer of Rambert, a dance company where she broadened its global presence through collaborations with The Royal Ballet and Manchester International Festival, and introduced programs like Rambert2 aimed at supporting emerging dancers. Before her role at Rambert, she served as COO at House Productions and co-founded Hofesh Shechter Company in 2008. In her statement, Shute expressed her excitement about joining the organizations, paying tribute to Mollica's leadership and highlighting the importance of making opera accessible to everyone.
