Heaven Hill Releases 10-Year-Old Rittenhouse Rye for US 250th Anniversary

other · 2026-05-23

Heaven Hill is marking the 250th anniversary of the United States with a special release: the Rittenhouse United States 250th Anniversary Commemorative Edition. This rye whiskey, which has been aged for ten years, is bottled at 100 proof and comes from only 90 barrels across different rickhouses, without any chill filtration. It maintains the classic Kentucky-style mashbill of the original Rittenhouse rye, consisting of 51% rye, 37% corn, and 12% malted barley. Rittenhouse was first produced in 1934 in Pennsylvania and became bottled-in-bond in 1948. Heaven Hill took over the brand in 1999. This limited edition will be available for $100 in select markets this month. Molly Vincent noted it honors both America's freedom and rye whiskey's legacy.
