Heather Phillipson, Ingrid Pollard, Veronica Ryan and Sin Wai Kin shortlisted for 2022 Turner Prize
The Turner Prize, valued at £25,000, will see four artists vying for the award, with each finalist receiving £10,000. Selected for their works from the past year are Heather Phillipson, Ingrid Pollard, Veronica Ryan, and Sin Wai Kin. The announcement of the winner is set for December, while the exhibition featuring the shortlisted artists will open at Tate Liverpool on 20 October. Phillipson is nominated for her Fourth Plinth Commission in Trafalgar Square, Ryan for her exhibition Along a Spectrum and the Hackney Windrush Art Commission, Pollard for Carbon Slowly Turning, and Sin Wai Kin for contributions to the British Art Show 9 and a solo show at Blindspot Gallery. The jury comprises Irene Aristizábal, Christine Eyene, Robert Leckie, and Anthony Spira.
