Head Hi Lamp Show Returns for Sixth Edition with Curatorial Collaborator
The sixth edition of the Head Hi Lamp Show is set to take place on May 8–9 at BOOM, located in The Standard, High Line, New York. This exhibition will showcase a variety of lamps, ranging from outdoor lighting to bedside designs. For the first time, cofounders Alexandra Hodkowski and Alvaro Alcocer have partnered with Stephen Markos of Superhouse. This year also introduces a biannual format, following the fifth edition held in 2024. The event will feature music from Jackson & Fiction, Sasha Crush, and others. Hodkowski and Alcocer received the Architecture in Media Award from AIA New York. Featured designers include Alexandra Rodriguez, David Ruperti, Jun Ong, LOT-EK, Hawa Al-Najjar, Mathilde Piel, and Studio Atomic.
