Hauser & Wirth and Fondazione Lucio Fontana Partner for Three Exhibitions Across USA and Asia
Hauser & Wirth, established by Iwan Wirth, Manuela Wirth, and Ursula Hauser, has joined forces with the Fondazione Lucio Fontana to organize three exhibitions over a two-year period, showcasing Lucio Fontana in Los Angeles, New York, and Hong Kong. Each exhibition will feature a catalogue published by Hauser & Wirth Publishers. The inaugural exhibition, curated by Luca Massimo Barbero, will take place in February 2020 in Los Angeles, highlighting Fontana's Ambienti. In spring 2021, ceramics will be showcased in New York, followed by a retrospective in Hong Kong in autumn 2021. Paolo Laurini highlighted their shared vision, while Iwan Wirth underscored the significance of preserving Fontana's legacy. The gallery has seven locations worldwide and a new site in Menorca.
