Hatis Noit Returns with 'Aura Reworks' Album and Italian Tour Dates

Japanese vocal artist Hatis Noit, previously praised for a 2022 performance at the Museo di Arte Orientale in Turin, has entered a new phase balancing pregnancy and recording her latest album. Her return is marked by a world tour that includes three Italian dates: Bologna (Robot Festival, October 10), Brescia (October 15), and Catania (October 17). The album 'Aura Reworks', released on September 26 via Erased Tapes, reimagines her acclaimed debut 'Aura' through collaborations with producers and musicians including Armand Hammer, Laraaji, Alex Somers, Matthew Herbert, Jlin, William Basinski, Yu Su, Emel, and Preservation. Noit describes the process as allowing her voice to evolve through dialogue with other artists, providing raw vocal tracks for free reinterpretation. The result is a choral work spanning genres, from Laraaji's transcendental atmospheres to melancholic pieces by Somers and Basinski. In an interview, Noit reflects on motherhood's profound impact on her artistry and identity, noting that becoming a mother has changed her worldview. She distinguishes 'reworks' from 'remixes' as a rebirth rather than mere alteration. Her upcoming shows will feature tracks from 'Aura' as well as new songs destined for her next album.
