Hästens and Ferris Rafauli unveil new luxury sleep instruments Grand Vividus and Drēmər

Hästens, the Swedish bed manufacturer, has partnered with designer Ferris Rafauli to unveil two innovative 'sleep instruments': the Grand Vividus and the Drēmər. The Grand Vividus, which debuted in 2020, and the Drēmər, a further development of the same concept, have seen extensive refinement throughout 2024 and 2025, with availability in select partner stores beginning in late 2025. Each Grand Vividus is meticulously handcrafted in Sweden, utilizing natural materials such as horsehair, wool, cotton, and flax, requiring up to 600 hours of skilled labor. The Drēmər emphasizes similar principles of support, sleep climate, tranquility, and recovery. Jan Ryde, the fifth-generation CEO, remarked, 'A bed holds you, but a sleep instrument restores you.' Hästens, established 170 years ago, believes the discourse surrounding sleep needs to be deeper, highlighting its crucial role in our lives.
