Harry and Meghan to produce Afghan war film for Netflix
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are working on a feature film for Netflix through their production company, Archewell, inspired by Major Adam Jowett's book 'No Way Out.' This film tells the real-life account of British soldiers defending a compound in Musa Qala, a stronghold of the Taliban in Helmand province, during assaults in 2006. Co-producing the project alongside Meghan, Prince Harry completed two tours in Afghanistan while serving in the British Army until 2015. Matt Charman, an Oscar nominee for 'Bridge of Spies,' is penning the script. After their previous contract with Netflix concluded last year, the couple established a 'first look deal' for new projects. They are also adapting Jasmine Guillory's 'The Wedding Date' and developing a polo drama.
