Hans Thomann and Tothi Folisi Present New Works at La Serpara in Tuscia

exhibition · 2026-05-05

The sculpture garden La Serpara in Viterbo, Italy, hosts a double presentation on May 15, 2016, featuring works by Swiss artist Hans Thomann and Sicilian artist Tothi Folisi. Thomann's residency from May 7 to May 15 inspired a bronze Superman emerging from the earth, reinterpreting the local landscape with pop forms. Folisi, born in 1979, created an installation exploring nature and the poetics of Korean poet Ko Un, following a residency in South Korea promoted by Cantieri d'Arte and curated by Marco Trulli. The event includes an introduction by Johannes Luterbacher and a live performance by Johnny Mox.
