Hannaka's First Solo Show 'Entre ciel et terre' at Galerie Depardieu

Hannaka, trained as a painter but now working primarily with photography and writing, presents her first solo exhibition 'Entre ciel et terre' at Galerie Depardieu in Nice. The show features five photographic series alongside a poem inscribed on the gallery walls, exploring themes of perpetual motion, impermanence, and the relativity of perception. Key series include 'Variations sur Bab’El', small black-and-white prints encased in resin with Chinese ink and gold powder, depicting a tree whose foliage disappears frame by frame, and 'Coulures', with ink drips sliding down branches. The exhibition, curated by Catherine Mathis, runs from July 6, 2016, at the gallery dedicated to contemporary art.
